Wilson's Garden of Hope, LLC is offering services in hybrid format!

1. What the does that really mean?

Our Augusta, Georgia office clinical staff will provide services, hybrid, remotely and in person, based on their personal and professional preference.  This means we will offer counseling services in-person, phone or video. You'll have the option to visit one of our physical office locations, or explore services in the comfort of your home. You don't have to leave your home, drive to our office or leave work for services. In an effort to maintain your health and our staff's well-being, we're utilizing a telehealth platform that is user-friendly and secure.

Our South Carolina office is currently hybrid, extending services weekly, in-person, to a limited number of clients. Please note, our SC location DOES NOT accept insurance (outside of Molina, Select Health, Tricare, BCBS and United Healthcare). Starting August 2022, all new self-pay clients will be assessed Wilson's regular hourly rate of $225.

*Wilson is full, (in the Augusta, Georgia and in the SC office location Wilson is booked months at a time, and does not have perceived availability until September 2023.*

2. What do I need for telehealth or remote services?

A phone, tablet or laptop with internet connection.

3. Will it cost me extra? Does my insurance cover this?

No it will NOT cost you extra, and yes your insurance plan covers telehealth as an option, for Augusta, Georgia office services ONLY.

RE: COVID-19

Thank you for choosing Wilson’s Garden of Hope, LLC Play Therapy & Counseling Center!

As always we thank you for your continued support over the years. In an effort to maintain the safety of our clients and staff, and to minimize business disruption, please note our agency’s provisional prevention and response plan to the novel Coronavirus in Georgia. At this time, our office is currently operating Monday through Thursday, from 08:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., in a hybrid format, based on the individual's therapist preference.

Due to an influx of cases in our area and lack of full compliance for varying families serviced by the agency, our clinical team  will be primarily telehealth. Armstrong, Blumenthal, Lenè, Wilder and Wilson will extend services in a hybrid format, (in-person and via telehealth) on a limited basis. Please note, Wilson will extend in-person services on a limited basis, due to having a compromised immune system, and transitioning to a part-time clinical role for services.

As a family, this means that you will experience minimal disruption in services, (scheduling will continue to operate; insurance will continue to get verified and filed, etc.). Telehealth services are covered by your insurance, which allows you the option to access services in the comfort of your home, on your cell phone or tablet. We will start sending out activity kits for children (in play therapy, and adult supplemental therapeutic materials) in August).

Families upon arrival for in-person services in our Georgia and South Carolina office, will be expected to wear face masks.

Advocating for children and families,

Shatisha M. Wilson, LPC, CPCS, RPT-S, ACS

CEO/Executive Director
